  • Gunners 0 - 1 WBA

GUNNERS have been very, very good...dominating possession, and coming very close on final pass deep in WBA's penalty-area.

WBA has been excellent. Defensively wonderful. On attack very, very good.
    Goal wonderful!

Very, very good and entertaining match.

WBA has been absolutely brilliant on attack...

...save 2 missed finishes by Anelka.
Truth is WBA should be now 3 up!

Have to admit I hardly paid them any attention...including thought on there beating a poor BoyU....but on the evidence seen today, excellent defensive work, tremendous hard-working players...excellent attacking build-ups...GREAT TEAM WORK=TEAM they look excellent TEAM.

Trust me, GUNNERS have been moving the ball well...no rolling over or let down on play yet WBA is doing very, very well.

        Commentators claim, no.
        ...but for me, penalty!!!

...previously great save by WBA goalie from Giroud!

My Gunners took a good point against a determined and excellent West Brom team. This EPL is one tough league, danger lurking everywhere.

That was an EXCELLENT tackle Karl. no penalty. The player was brave to make that challenge.

Went back and looked again in slow-mo and you are correct!
Ref made a good call. No penalty!

Seriously though we need Cazorla and Walcott back. I know Cazorla is almost fit, however don't know how far away Walcott is.

I think we missed Sagna the most.
He would have provided more balance...and better crosses and be more of an attacking threat.

...not that Jenkinson was bad...he just was not as good as Sagna.

Wilshire also, particularly the first 70 minutes was releasing the ball a tad too late and during that period lost the ball too often. He came very good in the last 20 minutes.

That is it in a nutshell. Wilshere is not a winger he got better when he moved inside. All our wide players are injured, dem mussi obeah wi
Walcott, Oxlade - Chamberlain, Corzola and Podolski are all out so we have to play Ramsey and Walcott wide at the moment.

Ramsey has been brave at carrying on at full speed when clearly (we are seeing for the 2nd consecutive match) he is not 100%!

Indeed, he needs a little break now. Good to have Rosicky back and Corzola will be back after the International break Walcott and Podolski shouldn't be that far away.
