DESPITE surviving a no- confidence vote, embattled KSAFA President Rudolph Speid, will have his hands full fending off further attempts by his disgruntled delegates if he doesn't address 14 burning issues.
Speid, who said he was ambushed, survived a no confidence vote 29-25 after 55 of the 80 delegates participated in the Special General Meeting

SPEID... under fire KSAFA president
last Saturday.
Speid, who took office in 2008 and fended off a challenge from Leon Mitchell last year for his second term, has promised to fulfill his obligation until his term ends in 2014.
But Speid will have to provide answers to a number of burning issues, from
poorly organised youth competitions, transparency in financial dealing, including sponsorship and the newly acquired premises, to the lifting of the ban on
Craig Butler.
Below is 14-point list of concerns that Speid's detractors want addressed.
1. The registration of players and teams for the KSAFA Under 13, 15, 17 and 20 competitions this season, has been very chaotic, resulting in club officials spending many unproductive hours at the KSAFA office. Kindly explain why the KSAFA office is understaffed and what steps are being taken to ensure that the registration process for competitions is smooth and efficient.
2. The transfer of players between clubs in the KSAFA Under 13, 15, 17 ad 20 competitions is lacking in transparency, resulting in players being transferred to other clubs without the prior written consent of their parents and proper transfer records being completed. What steps does KSAFA intend to take to strengthen the process of verifying the authenticity of player transfers?
3. The scheduling of our youth competitions at short notice and outside the time originally set for the holding of the Under 13, 15, 17 and 20 competitions has resulted in the overlapping of these competitions, thereby creating tremendous and unnecessary pressure on clubs to have their teams engaged in several competitions at the same time, without adequate sponsorship support, limited resources and overused playing field. Explain the reason for the removal of our youth competitions from their original schedule and the short notice being given to prepare, register and compete in these competitions.
4. Provide details of all sponsorship agreements entered into by KSAFA since our last Annual General Meeting in August 2012, including:
(a) a breakdown of the funds received from each sponsor for each competition or activity;
(b) details of expenditure of the funds received; and
(c) details of sponsorship funds outstanding.
5. Provide a copy of
the current mortgage agreement/financial instrument entered into by KSAFA for repayment of the debt owed for purchase of the office building.
6. Indicate the current mortgage payment due monthly and the total amount of arrears outstanding, if any, on the office building.
7. What rental agreements have been entered into with third parties for use of the office building, including monthly rental rates, details of each tenancy, and total revenue collected since the last Annual General Meeting in August 2012.
8. Provide details of all fines collected to date from
clubs and affiliates since August 2012.
9. Provide details of all revenue collected by the Association from gate receipts, as well as expenditure from hosting these matches since August 2012.
10. Provide a breakdown of all receivables due to
KSAFA, as well as details of all debts owed to creditors, not including mortgage payments.
11. Provide a breakdown of all amounts owed to the Association by the clubs and affiliated organisations, as well as the amounts owed by the Association to the clubs and other affiliates.
12. Explain the reason why clubs who have a credit balance with the Association are unable to receive payment in cash or cheque from their account, despite repeated requests to the Association for payment.
13. Indicate the number of bank accounts being held by the Association and the current balances.
14. Explain the basis for lifting, without the prior approval of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), the lifetime ban imposed by KSAFA and the JFF on Mr Craig Butler for taking officers of KSAFA to Civil Court in breach of JFF and FIFA regulations.
