  • GUNNERS could be real 'bad' if no injuries

    Based on current showing -
    Giroud is a better player than last year;
    Per Mertesacker appears faster;
    Bacary Sagna appears a better player;
    Ramsey is waaaaaay better player;
    Theo Walcott appears to have added a little defensive qualities as opposed to giving zilch on defense last year;
    Looks as if Wenger is going to use Podolski this year!!!

    Carzola has started like great engine!

    ...and greatest plus of all - Mickel Arteta is not playing!!!!
    The team looks tons strong in the last 3 matches than at any time last year!!!!

        "Per Mertesacker appears faster;"

        Really?

            the problem with that line of thought is you are forgetting spurs improved. so as chelsea, Man city and pool. So we need players simply put. The other day Podoski injured and we put on a left back... come on now. Buy some players.

              Maybe he means that they're doing so well without him now, they'll even do better when he returns... maybe?? Karl can clarify.

                Sorry, Dunny! Arteta destroys too many of our forward

                moves by passing back or laterally...when the attacking goal-scoring effort demands/begs/cries out for forward pass.

                There is a place for 'slowing the pace' or 'cooling things down'...but consistently interrupting forward momentum is not it! I think Arteta causes us to limit our goal-scoring chances...including destruction of 'breaks'=counter-attacks too many times.

                  Really! (...and I am surprised!)
                  He has been consistently getting to...out speeding opponents to the ball/50-50 balls.

                    You are correct, sir.
                    We need players...quality players...'bad-bad' as we are short-handed.
