Fifteen City players have been called up for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
With Spain yet to confirm their squad, that figure is likely to rise to 18 and includes injured skipper Vincent Kompany.
Joe Hart and James Milner have been selected for England’s matches against Moldova and Ukraine though there is once again no place for Joleon Lescott or Gareth Barry.
Kompany and Dedryck Boyata are in the Belgium squad to face Scotland, though the Blues’ captain is unlikely to take part due to his recent groin injury.
Matija Nastasic joins Aleks Kolarov for Serbia’s Balkan derby with Croatia and the clash with Wales, while Edin Dzeko will no doubt feature in Bosnia’s double header with Slovakia. Stevan Jovetic completes the Balkan quartet and is likely to represent Montenegro as a City player for the first time against Poland.
Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy are in the France squad for the matches against Georgia and Belarus and Costel Pantilimon has been included in the Romania party to face Hungary and Turkey.
Spain are yet to confirm their squad but David Silva, Alavaro Negredo and Jesus Navas are likely to be included.
Further afield Abdul Razak and Yaya Toure are in Ivory Coast’s squad to face Morocco and South American duo Sergio Aguero and Pablo Zabaleta are in Argentina’s squad for the clash with Paraguay.
