    "Kuyt had his shoulder in the offside position." - what a dumb-asz statement!

    Whatever happened to "daylight" between the players?

    Kuyt was not offside when he scored the goal in extra-time. It should have counted.
    Anyway, 2 finals in 3 years.

      No matta...Kuyt had the last laugh with a brilliant PK under what must have been tremendous pressure. By the way - despite a few problems, Pennant was good...glad to see it...great cross that he gave when Kuyt hit it against the cross bar. Great show by the better team.

        Whatever happened to "daylight" between the players?
        At least the referee was consistent. He made the same call on Drogba in the second half too.
