Directv is great...until it rains :-(

..not just rain that interferes with HD viewing. There is also the rare other atmospheric disturbance(s).
...but cable also always works, until it does not!

...besides just about every time there is an interruption on the "HD channels" exposing the "SD Channels" provides uninterrupted viewing on those SD Channels.

Aside: As far as I can tell every HD channel has a corresponding SD channel. All those channels that I have been viewing have companion SD Channel.
