  • Supporting Jermaine Hue

I saw Barker on FSC saying that the substance which Hue tested for was used for swelling. He said it was a steroid and Hue will be suspended. Barker said he is friends with Hue. He said it was understood that is was given by the doctor but Hue will be suspended and his career maybe as good as over.

Is he able to play in the NPL at least?
He needs to have a press conference to get his side out there or at least a good article.

The doctor needs to step up explain and apologize. Should the JFF pay some responsibilities. If so should the JFF pay???

This is not all about football as it seems like carelessness and it could have been any of our players. Why would people want to come and represent us if this kind of thing can happen to them?

Very good point Sass. Suppose this happened to one of the UB40's. Their club would be furious and probably be making a long list of people to sue. These things make Jamaica look very backward.

Sass, take the emotions out of this.
Having a press conference or good article? How does this help his cause ? His faith lies not in the public domain, but in the hands of FIFA !!

yes but people need to know the truth and it seems like Hue was a victim of our poor system. My only emotion is, I feel someone was wrong and he needs to speak up about it and others should pay for their shoddy job. As Jangle said, can you imagine if it was a elite EPL player or a promising Alvas Powell??? This should never happen again.

I know many people on here have position on Hue but I don't. When he plays good so be it, when he plays bad I point it out but a man life and earning is not something to play with.

no for me when the man have wife and kids to feed and them cut his career short. JFF need to bear some responsibility.

Again, can he play NPL which I think is FIFA sanctioned?

Maybe not, Burrell sometimes step up for trouble players on a personal basis so may the JFF can work a deal plus fight hard to represent Hue.

Did the swelling go down? That is the real test as to whether it worked.

You expect the Dr. to make a public statement, accepting blame, before he faces the FIFA panel ? If you were the doc, would you do that ?

I am sure that the doc has professional liability insurance, and Hue has lawyers..lets see how it plays out.
