The Mexican FA (FMF) has decided to keep head coach Jose Manuel de La Torre
after Mexico's failure in the Gold Cup.

I was wondering why they were taking so long with that decision.

Maybe after they get their ass kicked more soundly by the US on Sept 10th.

Not sure that Klinsmann would say anything different... him being a coach and all, or, sensing that their (USA) potentially closest rival has an underperforming coach, it would be to his (JK's) advantage to maintain the status quo.
