The problem with Ryan Johnson's low goal-scoring production rate is, he is being asked to do too much for our Reggae Boyz. He is the guy who must win all long high balls and pass on to other TEAM-mates; he must be a full time defender; he must be a full time midfielder and he must be goal-scorer as per his Portland TEAM.

...on his Portland TEAM he is most often attacker...who helps on holding up the ball and is but one of the mid-fielders who creates for TEAM. His substantive job is striker/goal-scorer!!! Not so for his REGGAEBOYZ!!!

Why the great problems with his REGGAEBOYZ?
His REGGAEBOYZ teammates are absolutely poor at retaining possession! Let us face what our record in these Hex matches show - His TEAM-mates are, in the main (7 of 9 are just) awful!

...and so it is in the modern game. ...but the forward is not usually always back on defense as often as the defender.
