  • Honduras looking very dangerous!!

Just saw last ten minutes of the honduras El sal game, they were moving the ball like I have Never Seen them move the ball, excellent movement on and off the ball in attacking third, diagonal passes in space destroying the El sal ability to respond in conventional space and time. The individual one on one interaction with Honduras on the ball, showed a mastery and understanding of immediate space and showed a 360 degree understanding of where space was relative to losing the tackler, really good stuff.

If Honduras keep playing like dat, ...?....,! Serious thing. What have they been doing, some very serious training, serious chemistry building, at team is in sync, I ave to watch the rest of their games and if they make the semis as I am sure they will, I may have to go and pay some Jerry jones money to watch that team play. Saw some sloppiness on defense, they almost let el sal score against the run of play, but the youth lick the post.

I can't lie I really hate the Gold Cup tournament. Every edition you have a teams sending their "B" teams or glorified U23 teams to it. They need to keep this nonsense to once every four years and make it actually mean something. The whole thing just seems cheap.
No need to thank me forumites.

You know, I wasn't even planning to look on it, until I saw the Haiti post by Peter R, actually almost forgot about it since I just got back yesterday and I switch te channel to the match and I was really surprised by what I saw. Maybe that is them under 23 side because I really did not recognize anybody on the team, but them a play some ball!

How do you think Jamaica would fare against them, since you will meet the soon???

Jamaica already picked up an easy two against them, at this point jamaica would have to move mountains to make anything happen, I am yet to even see an anthill moved.

Jamaicans problems truly rest on the business side. The talent and desire are there aplenty, just need to be molded properly, time to move on.

Honduras again, beat a more fancied CR team. Good hard football.

                Not true.

That's the case this time because it's an 'off year' Gold Cup. But if you look at the last edition (2011) you'll see that USA and Mexico brought A squads.
