            ENJOYABLE and Dramatic!!

to score with 15 seconds left after being behind......remarkable.
The Black Stars had 41 shots at goal, 22 on target......

Both teams played well... Ghana's "problem" is lack of finishing even though they scored four. They got themselves so many times into goal scoring situations and the final finish wasn't up to mark. They did take a lot of long range shots!

I feel for the Chilenos but I always got the sense the Stars wanted this more...

Against France they will struggle I feel; they have lost a few players due to yellow card accumulation so it will be interesting when these two (African) sides meet.

I only saw bits and pieces, but when Chile went up 3-2 in extra time, I thought it was lights out. Great come back. I think they took 41 shots of which about half were on the frame. Unbelievable statistic.

Don't worry about their conversion rate. One snow-filled winter will take care of that!

BTW, The winning goal could have been prevented if the Chilean defender had handled the ball, seriously!

I watched the game up to when Chile went 3-2 up. Personally I thought it was over for Ghana, seeing they hit the upright twice (that I can remember) and missed some chances that should have been put away.

Now I'm watch FSC report last night and saw that Ghana rallied to win 4-3 .... I was shocked.

                          Glad a see yah Lazie.

I have matched most of the U-20 WC games on ESPN-N. (I tape them and watch the games later). Some I watch live.

Anyway, my observation is that the level of play by these young players is waaaaaaay above that of place that is said to to have an abundance of talent.

Well unless they come up with another excuse why this abundance of talent cannot he honed into playing good winning football.

HL, after seeing the first game with France I was glad we didn't qualify.
