To this day I can't believe that Ja got eliminated out of the hex because of not playing Mattocks. What if Brasil had listened to Media and "say Oh Neymar isn't scoring let's drop him?"

BTW notice in the Italy game; the minute Neymar was removed from the game the Italians started to push more (even got a goal). Ja had no striker to threaten opponents hence they gambled and attacked freely (gaining results from these gambits).

I wish mattocks well and hope that he is working hard on the mental side of his game (this is where he needs serious work). He has the potential to be one of the top names in the sport.

As I said before, a player with Mattocks skill set needs to work out his problems on the field, instead of on the bench. Ja technical committee needs to stop the cronyism, it a kill the development of our soccer.

Darren needs a trade now. Whitecaps holding him back. His coach just believing in changing for changing sake. Seattle, Portland, LA, Houston, Colorado would be good for him now. He would see a lot more playing time and more goals. However with Generation 2K money they won't trade him.

I dont think any well thinking person can genuinely say he was left out. He did not play well in the CC. He has been sparodic at the white caps also.. Teams are not picked by highlights.. .

OJ two goals in 5 games and the coach drop him for at least the next 4 games? then international duty.

Whitecap coach seems to do it to all his forwards as he stock up on them. Look at how many he has. In many other MLS team Mattocks would have done much better. Even Carmello who was their leading scorer two years ago, was dropped for most of last season and now he is back scoring goals for fun.

Well were they winning with him out? Answer was no. That coach buys too much forwards and don't give most of them any time to settle down. Most of the midfield and forward were new and it also take sometime for it to get going.

How many forward in the league had 2 goals from 5 games and not performing consistently?

Actually, they did start to win once he was out of the starting lineup. They have been playing much better recently, since he has kept Camilo on the field.

dont get me wrong sass. I like the kid but i dont share the feeling that due to his ommision from the team we are where we are. He did not do well at the CC and he needs to take it seriously. Nothing is granted to anyone.

When he just came out they weren't wining. Yes recently they have started wining. Camilo is very good at free kicks.

I can't really say that either. With our without him we should have done better. But I think if we used two forwards at home we would have done somewhat better.
