Would you select the best available players or those with the best potential?

The question is too hypothetical. Many factors go into the selection. If it was a WC qualifier, best player; friendly, a developing player. If the one with nuff potential is close to "ready", I might give him a run in a WC qualifier. Here's my question, if not Hue, then who? The options are thin to non existent. We should consider changing the system to fit the talent available.

Notice the detail, speed, technical ability, excellent dribbler, excellent passer, contributes on defense, high work rate, this is what it should look like, all the guys we develop in this role are slow, too cool and have little defensive capability and low work rate, that is because we create ballers with star mentality in that role before them actually do anything.
