Now i hope they understand the rhetorical nature of my question Does anyone really think JA would get ten from Spain?? IF so dawg really nyam we suppa!
The FACT is they're Oceania champions and deserves to be there. Could Jamaica pick up 10 from Spain? Why not? Unless Spain gonna take their foot off the pedal.

I haven't been able to take in any of the matches for a number of reasons.
      Thanks for the Uruguay result.

Re: ...joy in watching one-side defeats
I saw the one-sided defeat but what I sought out was playing philosophy - style play and what could be deduced form it - and applying of thought process to assumption(s) on where such a philosophy - style play if pursued - could lead.

The question was always, could such a philosophy=style of play lead towards top world quality after application through 'reasonable' number of years?

I thought (still think) that their adoption of a type play that included a lot of passing and a lot of support movement...an adherence to development of top
quality technique in getting the ball to do each player's bidding is the right way to go.

      It was observed that -
      a) physical fitness was woefully inadequate for the CONFEDERATION level play. Small matter to fix - do the preparatory physical work.

      b) Speed across ground was inadequate. Speed of attack and of defense both individual and TEAM was inadequate. Matter of increasing pace of passing and actions easily solve with retaining type play but preparing in more fast paced environment=*carry out actions faster.

*Much easier to speed up good already ingrained technical habits than to
have players acquire the technical skills and also perform them at high pace effectively.

It was 'hitting' over the head that our Jamaica players need to acquire both
the technical skills that allow good passing percentage rate and the tactical skills knowledge that manifests self in constant movement into support space on attack and defense.

The Tahiti team members already show good basic technical and tactical skills.

      c) Appears that the matter of scouting for players with greater pace - speed across ground - and development of quicker reaction time - mental=decision-making and physical conditioned reflex action - and coaching their players to develop within environment where quick movement, passing...other acts are performed is small matter to move forward on....to add to the already 'gifts' of good ball handling and movement.

Scouting and development - youth academies & schools through clubs through the senior national teams. Easily doable.

Conclusion: Tahiti has great base of culture of passing and movement=TEAM-play to launch development of high quality players and high quality TEAMs.

...unfortunately in Jamaica we do not have such base --- our culture is limited to 'tek im on'!!!=poor movement and poor passing=no support for man on the ball...individual play as opposed to TEAM-play.

Our way/philosophy is reflected in our football graduates-our produced results-the result of our teaching-the coaches/teachers work=poor individual players and our poor TEAMs performances!!!
