Arsene Wenger believes Sir Alex Ferguson or Steve Coppell should be named manager of the year.
Manchester United are three points clear at the top of the Premiership and have reached the final of the FA Cup.
They also have a chance to repeat their treble-winning season of 1999 as they have advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
Wenger feels Ferguson deserves recognition for United's achievements, but would also be happy to see Coppell named as the Premiership's top boss.
Coppell's Reading side have defied their critics this season and Wenger has been impressed by their style of play.
Asked who he thought was manager of the year, Wenger said: "I feel this year Sir Alex Ferguson, because he's in a position to fight on every front, and Steve Coppell, who is in a position where nobody expected him to be and has a team who does not play negatively - they have a positive attitude everywhere they go."
Meanwhile, Wenger has expressed his sadness at the way Arsenal's season has petered out following their Champions League exit last month.
"This year we had a massive disappointment, I feel overall, especially in going out of the Champions League the way we went out," he told the League Managers' Association website. "But it's part of a growing process as well to handle this kind of disappointment and to still not let your disappointment stop your progression
"Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)
