which TEAM would come out ahead?
Unuh? ...I think the Bayern TEAM would win more matches...I think?
I think across TEAM Bayern may be just a shade - teeny-weeny bit - below Barcelona technically. ...i.e. Man for Man Barcelona ahead.
I think tactically --- different methods to get into 'striking distance' but just about 'dead-eeeeeks'! ...however that Barcelona TEAM has an over-reliance on Messi - one player. ...and therefore Barcelona's attacks has him as focal point...lopsided search/aim to get him the ball.
BAYERN in contrast has more even distribution on focus on a target striker. The midfielders and forwards are just about equally deadly on goal.
Both TEAMs employ FULL 100 TEAM defense. However it appears to me that the Bayern players are stronger and across the board superior defenders. ...give just one example, Thomas Müller - superb striker and superb defender.
...biases are insidious things=they are most often so deeply embedded in the consciousness of a individual that very often the individual will not even be aware of the bias, in that context let me say I may be using an example that is tempered by sub-conscious 'controls'...Thomas Müller is just about the perfect footballer -

- He is a superb passer, fast, strong, and based on his rotation in matches for TEAM Bayern and Germany can play any out position.
Totally TEAM orientation during matches. The type player I would love to have in every position save goalkeeper in my TEAM. Wish we could 'bottle him' infuse him with the passion for Jamaica and our Reggae Boyz that is TOP of THE WORLD and replicate same in the lab such that each of our REGGAE BOYZ 'runs out' with his football skill-set. We would conquer the world...
Definitely would not wish Messi as the type self-centered player he is. Can win matches yes...but he can only perform at his breathtaking 'brukie-boo' level with TEAM-mates as 'fetches and carriers' as is his Barcelona TEAM-mates. Could not if his life depend on it inspire a average TEAM of players to step up to first-class level play.

He would throw himself around on attack...in midfield...on defense just about like no other player on the planet would...his every action would be for TEAM. His every decision thoughtful and correct...he would drag his average TEAM-mates to new heights...heights they would not before know they each had within self.
Can we aim for such Bayern-like...30 Thomas Müller-like players for all our national teams - men and women? ...and for good measure our NPL (RSNL), clubs, school, prep and primary school...even corner league teams? We would bad (good) then ba-ba!!!
