Like you I thought he selected the low percentage effort...but if it had come off would we be shouting about the terrific goal? Think I am being fair in saying I would have preferred the 'rolling across goal' to his TEAM-mate. ...if we were 3 goals up and he tried such a volley and failed I would not have minded if I could take comfort in thought that he would not have gone that route if the TEAM situation was not one of comfortable lead.
