The kid is a promising talent..... that's all.
The US, for a superpower, is such a dismally underperforming entity in football that any glimmer of a hope to have an elite player is caught up in tremendous hype.
It's really a reflection of weakness in the game. For all the billions they have spent recently trying to develop the sport they are yet to develop an A player.... they do have a credible national program however.
I hope the boy has a great career for his and his family's sake though.
