Wonder if there are those still claiming we are not getting
multiple chances...excellent chances to score?
The chances can only arrive if Hue is playing? ...or have they changed their tune and give credit to the TEAM's ability to create???"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

What is it with Beckford...that he is surrounded by opponents and just cannot do the simple passing off of the ball? Is it that he freezes? ...brain-lock?"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

I was looking at the play to see if only the RB was at fault.Gordon was too far from the Salsido to do anything and the flight of ball went too high for him anyway, even with his 6ft 5" hight advantage. The closes person to Salsido was Mariappa, but even Mariappa was caught flat footed and did not even jump so he had the Mexican reaching way over him to head the ball home. I was also looking if Ricketts could have done something, but he too was caught flat footed. Ricketts if he had picked up the flight of the ball could have gone and punched it as he with his height would certainly reach above Salsido. Anyway, Ricketts was playing it safe and stayed home, thus making the shot easier for the Mexican.
Ricketts handled himself well last night though. He still wants to boot the ball sky high each time he gets it instead of some intelligent distribution out of the back to start his plays. He did not boot it as much as at the Azteca match though."Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance." ~ Kahlil Gibran
