    Reggae Boyz v Mexico: OK...I can now talk. Was multi-tasking

    however, I watched as I moved around and was engaged otherwise...

    Our big problem is at the back wide on the right and wide on the left. At least 3 times there were 'easy' balls to be played these gentlemen (one or the other at different times) stood and watched as opposed to going to the ball and playing same. I can remember each fellow making a block...when it was easier to 'loooooooog before' play the ball before the opponent could have gotten to it.

    ...the other area that concerns me is our final third....not for the life of me will our players take their shots. They make it into great positions and fail to quickly get off the shot there for the taking. It appears they are awaiting a voice from the heavens to instruct them to shoot.

      McCleary does not realize that even in the final 3rd it is a TEAM game. He has on 3 occasions failed to release the ball to TEAM-mate as he tries the more difficult task of twisting and turning to set himself for his personal moment of glory.

        In that 1st half unlike this 2nd - save for the set pieces -

        we did not have a problem getting into the final 3rd. That said, the Mexicans took all the dangerous shots from open play.

        In this 2nd half the Mexicans have thrown caution to the wind as it is apparent our efforts upfront ends with selfish ineffective play. ...which gives time for their defense to recover.

          ...say it again our defenders wide at the back...are a bit slow. Giving away a penalty is on the cards....would not surprise.

          Why is it McLeary will not or cannot share the ball when he is in a tight space?

          Now Austin follows suit - not tight space - but just runs w.ith the ball...refused to share same and gives it away.

          Third time JA comes close on crossed ball.
