  • Red Bulls. . .

I had a cchance to watch the Red Bulls yesterday and I am impressed. Firstly, Dane Richards is QUICK! He has excellent dribbling skills and man, can he travel. Imagine when you have a combination of Richards and Shelton up front for Jamaica? I only hope Bora keeps an eye on this Richards.

Josemar Altidore is really very good too. For a 17 year old, he has the body to play big men football and skills which you do not see often in American players. I know he is of Hatian descent, but he was born and raised in the USA. We always thought the USA's over structured system was not ideal for develoing players with the on-the-ball skills seen in Altidore. It was refreshing seeing him take on defenders and leaving them dead in their tracks for mere skill and pace. I think I would give this youth more ratings than Freddie at this time.

Overall, MLS can be watched! I saw some of KC Wizards and Chicago at Toyota Park. The Toyota Park stadium is quite nice too and had the atmosphere to make games more enjoyable.

Watched the MetroStars game too Tilla 'T'.
Missing live football at Giants Stadium is on my extremely short list of regrets about my recent move to the south.

MLS has been watchable from the beginning.
