I see that apart from your tendency to be irrational, you also do not read and comprehend very well. Did I not say they ceased (meaning stopped, discontinued, no longer) being defending champ when they dropped out of this season's Champion's League? The defending champs was never an issue here so I am not sure why are you dwelling on that.

That said, Chelsea are still reigning European Champions until another champ is crowned and you cannot take that away from them. Only after Saturday when a German side is crowned Champions will Chelsea no longer be Champions of Europe.
