Hehehe it always amuse me when I see you hayters talk fawt. Without RVP, Rooney, a proven 20-odd goals per season and Chi-Chi man, a proven 20-odd goals per season scoresrs would have easily carried the load. Which team in the league can boast of having 3 20-odd goals per season players in their team? Wheel and come again with your likkle dibby-dibby feeder club.

They had one game changer, Gareth Bale he got them out of trouble time and time again. An adebayor when he is on his game and focused could lead the line for my team , however you can never be sure what Adebayor will turn up.

Will not discuss the coaching save as below but will address the TEAM's achievement. I think we underachieved. Based on player personnel it should have been a much closer fight among these three - BoyU, Chelsea and my GUNNERS. The situation at the end of the season should have been 'any number could have played'.

No doubt, painful as it is to admit, Sir Alex did a far better job with his 'player resource' than did Rafa and Arsene Wenger.

GUNNERS big problem was the ineffective way they took advantage of possession and scoring chances in game after game, after game, after game, after game... That I think had a lot to do with Arsene Wenger's use of his strikers. The top 'true striker', Podolski was the most substituted player in the EPL. Particularly in the early matches when Podolski (any striker for the matter) need prolonged run to settle in mentally and physically and fit in with TEAM(mates) he was being staved of play.

Looking at Gervinho he started off on fire when it came to beating opponents but lacked composure in the final third/that final pass - shot or to TEAM(mate) - and never improved his kicking technique. I think, coaching focus on rectifying those faults would have helped.

Theo Walcott - Coaching to encourage more defensive work (certainly came on during the last few matches) should have been recognizable earlier in the season.

Walcott also, in too many matches was given the license to wander about without full effort on attack. Would not, save in not more than 5 matches during the season, repeatedly and consistently 'show' as option for TEAM(mates) passes. It was obvious that if he made 5 runs and never received a pass...he would not make the 6th when next there was occasion so to do. He would drift in and out of putting in those runs.

A comparison -Sir Alex would never have put up with that. A message would be sent as he would be yanked immediately he never made that 6th run...e.g. Nani's being yanked and cussed openly even when he was performing well otherwise, when he failed to provide good support option.

At ManCity Nasri - who did that crap while at my GUNNERS - was publicly hauled on the carpet by his manager and the result was belatedly, late in the season, more effort from Nasri to provide good support. Not fully there yet...but marked improvement!!!

btw - Say what you will about Brendon Rogers: There was the case of 2 players being compared by me at the start of the season of having just about equal potential, BoyU's Danny Welbeck and then Chelsea player, Daniel Sturridge, whether Daniel Sturridge had a point to prove on joining Liverpool after being relegated to the bench at Chelsea or that it also had something to do with the Luis Suarez/Steven Gerrard influence, no one can dispute that his standard of play at Liverpool reached greatest of heights as Rogers got him to be more TEAM oriented. It is fact, that Sturridge has jumped miles forward of Welbeck towards fulfilling potential.

Rogers coaching stood out - as he immediately made impact on Sturridge's manner of play and got a step up from him on production of quality performances.

Incidentally that mantra "give and thou shalt receive" was never more evident than in Sturridge's increased movement and passing, passing and movement translating into his receiving more top quality goal-scoring opportunities from TEAM(mates).
