  • Lloyd Doyley

Thirty year-old Watford defender Lloyd Doyley will make his debut at right wingback, the position previously occupied by Jermaine Taylor. Taylor will partner Adrian Mariappa in central defence due to the absence of Nyron Nosworthy who suffered an achilles tendon injury in Jamaica’s last game against Panama.

Is this bravery or stupidity? Playing 4-4-2 away from home, time will tell!!

The bravery/stupidity is playing two central midfielders who are not adept at passing or possession while simultaneously asking for passing /possession from the middle.

Again repeating what we just saw, panama coach told us this. we cannot control midfield with 4-4-2 with those players in that formation and why lose a man in the middle and play an extra forward when you cannot get to the forward. you increase your presence in the middle of the pitch where you need it to start the game by 25 percent with the 4-5-1 versus playing 4-4-2.
Also why play Doyley at rb when Taylor has been playing that, maps and Dooley have chemistry together, Taylor and maps don't.

Cause Taylor has been horrible at right back and plays central defense on a regular basis and Lloyd has played right back for a decade even though he has played at other spots in the back.

All right, he played well in mex match and only played part of game at rb in pan match.
