Closing down spaces wouldn't/shouldn't be the main objective of a creative/attacking midfielder. His main objective should be breaking down opposing defenses and supplying the forwards with goal scoring opportunities.
Can Hue do that against teams in the Hex???

USAF, for a few months well, we were told that Jobi McAnuff would force Hue into retirement. Jobi plays against the best players in the world every week, so coming to the Hex would be a breeze. (Buenas noches, Chicharito!)

Well, we've seen two games with Jobi and...well...hey, Jobi is a good player, but he's no Jermaine Hue!

JJ came on late and our attack looked threatning,Hue was left to watch.If Tappa could do it all over i am sure he would start Ryan over Shelton.Tappa has a problem with Hue,that game was his game but that arguement is swatted away with the set up and subs of the team,he has a problem with the whole team.

we played for a draw at home based on the set up and subs,tactically naive.

I would be lying if didn't like the team that started, yeah maybe JJ and Ryan Johnson would have been better options but I really thought we would overwhelm them in midfield. We simply need to start creating chances whomever starts.

wat tappa is doing is not working right now. try something new. shelton sit.teddy should start..hue shud come off the bench or start...why carry hue around if u know ur not gonna play him...we have been playing this attack done the wing one dimensional game for so long now. its predictable and all the teams have caught on..we need another option..Teddy and hue gives us that

As useless as Teddy was last night (YES HE WAS USELESS, PEOPLE!), maybe, just maybe one of these days he will actually dribble past a whole team and score, or release a killer pass to his teammate who scores. AGREED, even christiano ronaldo and gareth bale pass the ball at some point, teddy NEVER passes!
