i know ... i saw them lay some plywood on the ground for the shot put and then cover it with plastic and sand, unfortunately the C'bar yute threw past it unto the field and at the end they had persons filling in indentation with sand. The match commissioner will inspect the field on Thursday I believe and so they have time.
the discuss was being thrown directly on the field and i did not see any such attention being paid to that area. the javelin is perhaps the least intrusive.
