Alright then; so I spoke the truth.

...for most of the game Panama was faster on the ball and more TEAM. They should have won the game from the 1st half. Numerous crosses (wing play) and at least two incredible misses - penalty miss & skying the ball in front of open gaping goal from 3 yards...and other good chances 12 yards out (e.g. the one-time shot...free 12 yards shot that flew over the goal)!

All those chances before 50min. Shoulda...coulda...Panama 4 or 5 - 0 El Salvador.

The El Salvador players kept going and going - strong running and the combinations started to click...against the earlier run of play they pulled it out. They created an increasing number of chances as the game went on (Tied in the 55min from 8yards).

The continuous running ran the Panamians into the ground (closed the disparity on/in player speed) and got the game coming back to El Salvador. 78min tremendous shot 25 yard out=GOAL!

That being able to run with Panama...that "never say die attitude"...continuous pressuring...led to the late crushing of Panama.

So no U-20 World Cup for Panama.

Incidentally - Both of these TEAMs provided much greater and faster movement of man and ball than Jamaica did in the 2 matches JA played.
