U.S. U-20 MNT Wins Group A with 1-0 Victory Against Costa Rica

The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team captured Group A of the 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship with a 1-0 win against Costa Rica at Estadio Olímpico Universitario Lobos BUAP. U.S. Soccer Development Academy product Jose Villarreal broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute, rising high above his mark to get on the end of a Luis Gil corner and snap home a header to the near post. At the other end, U.S. goalkeeper Cody Cropper made four saves, including one from point-blank range to preserve the shutout.

Jamaica U-20 can redeem themselves against MexTico in a few days.

I think the main problem is that the team is mentally weak. The secondary problem is local players from high school to NPL'ers do not believe in the simplicity of the game. \

One and two touch football is not a part of the local style. Not minimizing the the importance off individual skill--but this is the hallmark of being a good player in Jamaica.

None of the current US_20 players would be deemed good players by local standard. The US win against costa Rica was not easy-on-the-eye, but the result placed them top of their group.
