JFF Charter For Costa Rica WCQ

The Jamaica senior men's national football team's impressive start in the final round of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying (WCQ) for Brazil 2014, after earning a historic 0-0 draw with Mexico for the country's first-ever point at the renowned Estadio Azteca Stadium, has sent optimism sweeping across the country.
This has resulted in persons wanting to get on to the bandwagon and literally board the plane to support the Boyz in their quest to qualifying for football's greatest showpiece for the second time, having done so in 1998.
The team will next be in action on March 22, when they host Panama at the National Stadium, before travelling to Costa Rica four days later to tackle that nation.
According to Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) president, Captain Horace Burrell, numerous requests had been received from persons wishing to be in Costa Rica cheering on the team. The JFF has answered the call by making arrangements for interested persons to travel with the team on March 23.
The package consists of a chartered flight directly to Costa Rica, transportation from the airport to the Palacio hotel, and to and from the match on the 26th. The hotel accommodation will be inclusive of breakfast, while match tickets will also form part of the package.
There are three separate packages on offer, with double occupancy fetching a cost of US$1,559, single occupancy (US$1,709) and those wishing to fly business class and occupy a room by themselves will be required to pay US$2,898.
"We figure it is an excellent package, as persons will be able to spend a weekend, and we think it will be an asset to our team," Burrell told The Gleaner.
"We have already arranged five-star accommodation in Costa Rica. It is a total package with three-night hotel accommodation and breakfast, match ticket and transportation to the game."
The federation will have approximately 100 seats available for sale on a first-come, first-served basis.
The approximate three-hour flight will depart Jamaica on the 23rd at 7 a.m. and will return to the island on the 26th (the same night of the game), with the flight slated to depart Costa Rica at 2 a.m. and land in Jamaica approximately 5 a.m.
"Based on the initial enquiries that have come in to the JFF, we feel certain that the seats will be sold off in the first few days," Burrell stated. "Tickets go on sale with immediate effect and, therefore, we are encouraging those who are interested to quickly purchase their seats. Interested persons are asked to contact the JFF."
