The borish captain can not diss the baller publicly and believe there will not be any consequences.

What consequence you expect? He wants to go to the World Cup so I doubt he will be turning down any call up.

If I am not mistaken, Mattocks came on as a sub in the US v. Jamaica game in Ohio.

During pregame warm-up he gave me the impression of being quite flamboyant and cocky.

I heard that he did not show up for some training sessions prior to the Mexico game.

I support the good Cap'n Burrell. "Attitude is everything"

Wrong on some fronts. He didn't come on in the US game, He wasn't called for Mexico game but I agree that "Attitude is everything".

Mattocks however I think can be worked on very easily.

I think you may have the facts wrong. I believe it was Montesso who dissed King publicly. Still Cappo shouldn't have aired our dirty laundry in public even though it may already have been out there via some players.

So, perhaps Tappa was being diplomatic when he told me it had nothing to do with attitude, but the Captain has spoken.

He, the Captain, has made some recent misstatements, but this doesn't seem like one of them.
              hehehe!! ok.

Exactly, i have a lot of time for Mr Burrell, however he should leave team matters to the coaching team. I would have rather this whole Mattocks issue kept in house.

WHAT?. Are you suggesting that there is a young player in the soccer universe who doesn't want to play on the biggest soccer stage in the world?. You mean like a politician who just wants to be elected to local dog catcher and wouldn't want to be the Prime Minister if he thinks that he has the ability?. Should there be a culture of low expectation among our young players?.

that is Brickie suggesting and I doubt it has anything to do with how Mattocks feels.

The BPL is his goal...Reggaeboyz didn't make him and they won't break him...you can take that to the bank

He came on in the game against US at the office...made a couple flamboyant moves that I don't think were appreciated by the coaching staff...really neither here nor there...if he doesn't play for Jamaica his career will feel no ill effect...

Not true if he wants to play in England at the highest level. No JA caps will make it very difficult to get there.
