I do not think you know Rooney at all,he is as good as any,and has proven that repeatedly.
Rarely do you find a player that is not as skillful as Nani but is just as capable at advancing the ball,nor is he as renown for taking free kicks as Beckham is but he is nonetheless as effective in dead ball situations.He not as tall as Ruud(the reason he will take the corner kicks yet he has won the golden boots award.
Rooney is a natural baller,he probably will win the golden boots award next season.
