I am disappointed that Daniel Gordon was not named, but I trust Mariappa and Nosworthy. Maybe Daniel needs a friendly match to acclimate himself.

Karlsruhe, in second place, plays fourth-place Arminia Bielefeld who are only four points behind Karlsruhe in the table. Obviously it is a big match.

I thought with Shelton injured that Mattock would definitely be in the squad but Tappa fool me again.

Is Andre Lewis a serious option for Azteca...the answer is no, then why waste a pick on someone that we know won't play.

OJ, I notice you have it out fi STETHS man.

I have to agree with you though, Lovel was not ready, STETHS man or not. I am happy to see that they have gotten rid of JeVaughn Watson as well.

                I like the squad.

Why is he not a serious pick?
What do you know of this player?

Is Andre the Yard striker that distinguished himself in the league in El Salvador?
If so,then his inclusion is likely especially when finishing appears to be a problem for our strikers.
He will figure at some point though.

That player is Sean Fraser. He was not called despite his heroics in El Salvador.

Andre Lewis played for St. Georges and he is on the U20 team that departs for its tournament right after this match.

...and it looks (on paper) a good squad!

On paper, it's a good squad, but while I'm hoping for the best in Mexico my expectations are not that great. These guys have not played together so my expectation is that they will get better with each successive game. Still they are professionals and should give a decent account for themselves in Mexico.

                              Overall, good squad selection (nt)

Like the mix of players selected for the team. There will be strong competitions for places on the team.

I can tell that some players will go back to their clubs without making it onto the field.
