Austin set up the second goal with a nice pass to McCormack; it proved to be the winner.

I thought so too, but it looks like it was Diouf.

Another big game for Rudy in the next round of the FA CUP. Leeds are drawn away to Manchester City. Another big test for the big man!

I don't know if it was such a big game for him. I watched just to see how he would perform and I have to say for the most part, he was not that involved in the game. That is my opinion though. Maybe I could have dozed off and missed where he was having a good game.

Agreed, it was a game that passed him by really. Hopefully we will get a swash buckling performance from him against Man City. To be honest Rudy haven't been at his best since is return from injury.

Not a lot of touches, but he was out there running, shadowing and closing space, so much so that not much came through the middle and it clearly was not an area of a mismatch. I think we overall underrate this most fundamental part if the game too much and judge largely on touches and play on the attacking side.

That is not the case with me at all. A man can play good defensive game and it is noticed how much he is involved in breaking up plays and closing down the channels. Austin held his own in this one, but he never stood out on either side of the ball in this game.

Let's see how he does against Manchester City a team with a more technical midfield and is overall more tactically astute side than Tottenham.

Not me Stoni, as a student of the game i appreciate every aspect of the great game of football, however in my opinion rudy was very impressive before is injury but has been ordinary since his return. I am not too worried because i know it will take a few games for him to get back to his best. By the time the Man City game come around in February i expect Rudy to be at his best.
