Podolski has never been given a chance by Arsene Wenger. Wenger has removed him from every game he has played previous to this one at the 60+ minute mark...and in each of those games he was always playing well with poor service and having to be deep assisting defense and 'encouraging TEAMplay.Originally posted by Assasin View Post"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. So referenced, so done...the man is playing beautifully as he has always done and he is substituted again in the 60+ minute.
Walcott is the one to withdraw. Walcott has started to give signs of going selfish..moving out of the mold of quick release of the ball. In fact, Walcott just previous to Podolski's removal just broke up a TEAM play by trying to go it alone! Wenger needs to encourage this TEAM play for future games sake! ...not discourage it by removing a player who has been moving adn passing out of this world!"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Good workout by GUNNERS!
...even after the injury the movement and passing was good save for 1 or 2 times "The Ox" held the ball (poor shot on one occasion when pass to top of "The D" or rolling the ball down the intuding "6 yard line" - goal-area line nearest him would have done the trick).
Even Walcott was not bad - he perhaps touched the ball 1 or 2 times but he kept pulling into pockets/space - never stopped moving...and that of course helped TEAM possession."Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
