PRESIDENT of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), Captain Horace Burrell, has expressed sadness in the passing of western football stalwart Clinton Weston King, who passed away on Thursday.
King was renowned in western Jamaica for his undying love for the sport even in his many years of illness.

'Wesso', as he was affectionately called, had the honour of coaching the first team from rural Jamaica, Seba United, to win the National Premier League title in 1986-87 and then again in 1996-97.
National senior team coach, Theodore Whitmore, stated: "We have lost a stalwart, 'Wesso' has done a lot for me as a player and a coach, and he will be sadly missed."
Weston King was conferred with the JFF Presidents Award on September 26, 2010 on the occasion of the visit of Sepp Blatter, FIFA President, to Jamaica. He was one of 10 individuals, who were presented with the award for outstanding and unswerving service to the sport of football.
President Burrell extends profound condolences to King's family, friends and the St James football fraternity.
