OK Dread, since you put me to task. I will borrow Dunny's formation and make the changes I think I would.

      4-5-1 Formation

      ---------------------------------Dwayne Miller --------------------------------------

      Jermaine Taylor-------Nyron Nosworthy------------Adrian Mariappa---------------Demar Phillips

      -------------------Marvin Elliot-----------------Austin-----------------------

      --Jermaine Johnson-------------------Jermain Hue---------------------Joel McCanuff

      ---------------------------Ryan Johnson------------------------------------

I prefer Miller in goal over Ricketts. I think both are good shot stoppers, but Miller's game helps the team more than Ricketts' does. Actually, Ricketts may be a better shot stopper than Miller, but Miller is better at building the attack by distributing the ball well out of the back.

I would start Jermain Johnson on the right as I assume he still has pace and skill on the ball and having been a member of the Reggae Boyz setup for a long time, he will be more familiar with the team setup and than new players.

Ryan Johnson up front because as a player, he is big, bustling and physical and could throw off the Mexicans. He also leaves it all on the field when he pulls on the Jamaican shirt in my opinion.

While I am excited to have the new players on board, I think we have to give them time to learn our system.

I think we have what it takes to shock the Mexicans. they however have the advantage of altitude working for them and the 120K screaming Mexican fans in the Azteca. That said, anything can happen. . .

Given the squad in Mexico, this is a pretty good team you have put down. I love the use of both Elliot and Austin; both are good box to box mids that can play the defensive mid position very well. JJ, on his day, can be a nightmare for any team and he is familiar with the Mexican style of play. Nice starting team.

Nice starting team, however I would go for McCleary's superior quality over JJ.

He spent just 85 minutes on the pitch and didn't even start a match, but Le Fondre is player of the month (and Reading boss McDermott makes it a double celebration)

Le Fondre said: 'It's fantastic to win the award, I'm buzzing for myself and the rest of the team. I want to keep this scoring run going right through until the end of the season and hopefully we can stay up.'

In charge: Brian McDermott was handed the manager of the month gong

And it was a double celebration for Reading as Brian McDermott took the manager of the month prize for the seven points from 12 they gained after the new year.
McDermott said: 'It's fantastic to win it, the team and staff at the club have done a fantastic job in the last month.

'The bigger picture is that we've got a lot more points on the board now and we've given ourselves a real chance of league survival.'

McDermott out but Reading played well this weekend, should have something to show for it, need to win at least 3-4 more games to stay up.

Excellent run for what they had, they played some good matches against quality opposition, they failed miserably against lesser opposition at home down the stretch. Clearly there are some deficiencies in the upper levels of the organization and for the team to have stayed competitive and stay up they needed a few more consistent quality players scattered through the positions.
I will have to find another underdog to support next season, I get no joy supporting the top dogs like many on here do. Definitely played some memorable at he's especially against Manu, Chelsea, Liverpool and man city. Key issue really boiled down to playing bottom five teams at home and defending their home ground, they did a poor job on that, also poor job on drawing or beating the worst o teams on the road, you must do that to survive. Not quite done yet but pretty close to sticking that fork in!

Not so great at the Epl level, good on the reading level. His stats were never really great at the championship level either but from a jamaican standpoint his assists in the championship and epl might still be the best of any Jamaican who has actually represented jamaica in either league.
