So, Alvas has not only recovered from his injury but has been training well. Ok!

Lovel Palmer gets back his spot. Don't think he started the first game.

Wow! Tuffy Anderson gets a start along with Darren Mattocks.

So there will be youth and experience on the park (sic). But how with Hue carrying 34 years and Tuffy carrying 33 (just shy of 34 himself), is that a wise move?

Why is Hue playing when he himself said he did not play well?

And now we have 4 local-based players starting. Hmmm...

Just trying to give unnu something to base unnu arguments on.

Jermaine "Tuffy" Anderson is a young 33/34 year old player! No doubt can 'burn' any of the others! Tremendous shot! Hope he plays suh-mart TEAM and mash hit up?

mmmmm? So when it was claimed Tappa - (Interesting fact: ...at the time about the same age as Hue. Just trivia. Not relevant to post.) - was 'not in the game' when his teammates were by-passing him (remember a liberal amount of 'air balls'/hoof to the forwards....errrr? ...our opponents was a part of that then by-pass) ...???? How come for Hue that is 'plaing around Hue'?

Bwoy some utterances just have a way of coming around to naam one??? Bwoy???!!!

...or it could be for those then "Tappa" detractors, now 'older and wiser'?

What inference(s) are we to draw from the acts of the technical team?

In Saturday's surprise defeat of the double back-to-back champions, head coach Theodore 'Tappa' Whitmore banked on Dwayne Miller, Shavar Thomas, Montrose Phinn, Andrae Campbell, Xavian Virgo, Demar Phillips, Jason Morrison, Keammar Daley, Jermaine Hue, Ryan Johnson and Tramaine Stewart to get the Boyz off to a winning start.

With things not going exactly to plan, a double substitution in the 52nd minute of Darren Mattocks replacing Jermaine Hue and Omar Cummings in for Ryan Johnson, spurred the Jamaicans after they had fell dangerously behind with the score at 2-1.

As a further boost, the Jamaican bench re-introduced the veteran Ricardo 'Bibi' Gardner for injured Andre Campbell after a three-year absence in the 57th minute, and the former Bolton Wanderers star, obviously a margin off his former pace, looked sharp otherwise in dictating a passing game from midfield.

I have agreed with you on occasion that that was true re Tappa. Not rocket science since we resort to long ball tactics more often than we should.

                      However...

They panicked! Maestro should never be substituted just because you fall behind. He can produce moments of magic to win the game, including freekicks!

Never rate Morrison. But, he has had a Euro contract longer than most. For Stoni, at least, that must count for something.

The only time I gave him some props was when I saw him in training two weeks ago. Maybe he trains better than actual matches?!?

Still, him not that bad. Just not a game changer, one way or the other.

that is the problem right there, he should be a leader now. He hasn't improved one bit. He should be a leader by now. Him and Shavar should be taking the responsiblitiy of setting up the defensive game. He is beaten to easily and is too slight sometime.

His two turnovers led to the two goals and the team improved significantly and created many more chances with him off the field.
