  • Wilshire was offside...on coming back onto

the field and picking up the ball passed/played forward from teammate!

    Gervino?
This guy is great on pace, movement and 'cut-backs', finding himself into goalscoring positions...but he is a poor header, poor at kicking the ball and frequent at missing goal!

...on upside must start when fit...as his good points will aid creation of 'nuff-nuff' goalscoring opportunities for teammates and also keep opponents 'honest'.

The guy just has me alternately laughing and crying!

Do not care a fig what the FA does...but all this talk by the commentators about Cazorla not being touched is nonsense. They like myself cannot be convinced the player was not 'racked'. Cannot see on those replays any daylight between the 2 players feet.

Aside: The ref appears affected by the incident as a few clear fouls were not called.

Damn we should have been up by 5...but good defending and our self-inflicted wounds have us missing and missing and missing. Podolski's miss from 7 yards sums it up!!!!

Jack Wilshire has been extremely good...really great! The team is playing with the right attitude and energy.

Can imagine the uproar if MU got that penalty.

Nice to see Rosicky back, he is a top player we just need to get the glass man(Diaby) fit and we should have a better second half to the season.

I am dead serious! There is nothing that I saw that 'said' Cazorla was not brought down!

                            Wenger apologises for Cazorla dive

                            December 9, 2012

                            By ESPN staff

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has issued an apology for Santi Cazorla being awarded a penalty against West Brom, suggesting the Spaniard may come in for disciplinary action for going to ground too easily.

Cazorla helped Arsenal take the lead when he fell in the box following a challenge by Steven Reid, with replays showing there was no contact. Mikel Arteta converted the resulting penalty.

"I am sorry if it was not a penalty, but I have spoken to Santi and he said he was touched, lost his balance. Has he made a bit more of it? I don't know," Wenger said. "When he [a player] is touched, he goes down, the referee can give or not give the penalty."

Asked if he would speak to Cazorla if he felt there had not been contact, he added: "Of course. I will look at it, don't worry."

Arteta, who scored twice from the penalty spot during the victory, defended his team-mate and compatriot after the match, insisting that simulation is not normally part of Cazorla's character.

"Santi is not a player who dives," he said. "He has taken a lot this year because of the way he plays. If he has done it [is] because he felt something and changed direction. But he is not that sort of player."

Information from the Press Association was used in this report.
