    RECAP: US UNDER-20'S 2 - 1 HAITI

On his international debut, Gabriel Ferrari scored the game winning goal in second half stoppage time to give the US Under-20 National Team a 2-1 victory over Haiti's full national team at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas.

The Americans opened the scoring in the 56th minute when captain Freddy Adu was fouled in the box after a long run through the Haitian defense and finished off the play by scoring the penalty kick.

With fifteen minutes left in the game, a giveaway by Ferrari resulted in Haiti being able to counter the opposite way. Eliphen Cadet was sprung free past the US defense and beat goalkeeper Chris Seitz to tie the score.

In the waning moments of the game, second half substitute Dax McCarty flicked the ball in front of goal, which gave Ferrari the opportunity to put it past the goalkeeper to give the Americans the victory.

The U-20's will now break from camp as the majority of the squad returns to their MLS clubs for final preparations before the beginning of the 2007 season.
"Donovan was excellent. We knew he was a good player, but he really didn't do anything wrong in the whole game and made it difficult for us."
