Futbol24 have the Young Boyz leading 1-0 against Antigua & Barbuda. Goal was scored in the 42nd minute. Scorer unknown.
As I am posting Antigua & Barbuda just received a red card.

The match ended 1-0. Goal was very fortunate. A bad cross was followed through by Oshane Boothe and the goalie made a mess of it.

It never pretty! All the big stars - Boothe, LA Lewis, Omar Holness and the rest of them, looked rather ordinary if not poor.

They better step it up for the next two matches.

Of course, Alvas Powell was our best player, by far!

        Thank You Sir !!

Boothe scored, and he is missing goals like crazy in Manning Cup !!

hopefully they step it up, first games sometimes nerves come into play.

        Powell a big balla !!

Does Alvas Powell look like he could play at a higher level, say the the u-23 level?

            Most certainly!

But no, we don't push our footballers. So, he returns to Paul Bogle HS where he scores 90% of their goals from midfield.

I am surprised we don't have a lot more local players that are not Under 17 players from last year. LA Lewis, Holness and many of the other "stars" didn't look that great at the Under 17 level last year, so I am not surprised if they don't look good at the under 20 level just a year later.

They better put on a much better show this evening!

I don't think they did a good job scouting the rural players. The daCosta schools are generally weaker than Manning Cup, but there are some gems in the rural areas!
