<P class=big>Arsenal's Jens Lehmann has been voted the best goalkeeper in last season's UEFA Champions League, and Ronaldinho the best overall player.
The Uefa club football awards, presented during the draw for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League, recognised the best performers in each position in last season's competition.
Each award was voted for by the coaches of the 16 teams who reached the knockout stages last year, as well as members of the Uefa technical study group.
Not surprisingly champions Barcelona dominated the ceremony, but Lehmann at least prevented them from securing a clean sweep of the five major awards.
The German was sent off in the final against Barcelona but his assured performances in the rest of the competition were enough to see him get the nod over fellow nominees Gianluigi Buffon of Juventus and Lyon's Gregory Coupet.
Lehmann saved a penalty from Juan Roman Riquelme of Villarreal in the semi-final second leg and kept a record number of clean sheets between the group stages and the final.
Thierry Henry missed out on the best striker award, with Barcelona forward Samuel Eto'o winning ahead of him and Brazilian team-mate Ronaldinho.
Barca's Carles Puyol was named the top defender, edging out Arsenal's third nominee Emmanuel Eboue as well as Fabio Cannavaro.
In the best midfielder category, Barcelona ace Deco beat off competition from Riquelme and Juninho Pernambucano of Lyon to carry off the award.
The final award recognised the Uefa club footballer of the year 2006, and Ronaldinho scooped the prize for his scintillating displays throughout the Champions League.
