Three of the 12 MLS player making seven figures in total compensation arrived in the middle of the 2012 season, including Australian midfielder Tim Cahill, who was guaranteed $3.6 million by the New York Red Bulls, the fourth-highest salary in the league. Thank goodness the league has done something about the pathetic lower end salaries they used to offer. Was a real disgrace.

As for this list, it simply shows how some of this team's waste money. NY is better off cutting Marquez and Cahill's. De Guzman is a complete waste of money.

Galaxy seems to be one of the few who knows how to spend money on DPs

The disparity is ridiculous. Look at the Jamaican salaries.

I don't have a problem with the current disparity. Henry, Landon Donovan and Beckham are worth that much more to the league than the lower level players. Marquez, DeGuzman and many others are a waste of money. Most of the Jamaicans are earning right around where their production level suggests they should be.
