    Horace Reid Leaves JFF For CONCACAF Post

    Horace Reid is leaving the JFF effective November 1 to become Director Of Competitions for CONCACAF, the JFF announced Tuesday night.

      JFF losing H. Reid is a very significant loss to the federation.

      I do not think that most people realize that it is General Secretary who takes care of most of the day-to-day operation of the federation. H. Reid was also an excellent event planner. This is now one of his main task for CONCACAF.

      Wish Mr. Reid best wishes and success in his new role.

      We often don't realize the talent we have until it is lost. I would love to see who will now be named General Secretary for the JFF.

          See it as a plus instead of a loss.

          Jamaica now has two people in FIFA, and that also bodes well for CONCACAF. The more reps CONCACAF has in FIFA, the more attention Jamaica and the region SHOULD get, and that opening in the JFF allows them to bring in someone with new and fresh ideas.
