The tactics is spot on, but we just need to keep the ball better so we can counter attack. Shelton is not getting back to help Taylor so that needs to be sorted or the will get in down that side.Comment

6!? No! 3 more like it. But we are not playing well.
I don't mind the defensive stance, but when we get the ball we must look to punish them, or at least keep possession a little, or much longer. Appears no one wants to be caught out of position, although they are being caught out.

I'm guess I'm seeing a different picture after 45 min. with the US having 75% possession. You're telling me that Tappa didn't plan that?
The only chance in our 18 yard so far was offside. Which leaves the US taking shots. The shots hitting the post made me flinch. YES. But I am sure I'm seeing a plan.
The next 45 minutes will tell.

Its clear what the tactics was given the fact that the team bunkered the entire 1st half. I mean look at the passing out of defense. No midfield play and alot of running off the ball at the wrong end of the pitch. Its very fortunate that the score is still 0-0. Hope they change that game plan in the 2nd half, because mentally it takes alot to bunker for 90 mins.Originally posted by Karl View PostComment
