    Cummings Starts Again USA



    COLUMBUS, Ohio**— Omar Cummings, a man who played his collegiate football in the state of Ohio at the University of Cincinnati, will be the only change to Jamaica’s starting team from the one which created history on Friday last defeating the United States of America 2-1.


    Cummings will take his place in the three-man forward line alongside captain Luton Shelton and Kavin Bryan while Ryan Johnson who picked up an injury in Friday’s win will not be involved.



    Team: Gk – Dwayne Miller; Defenders – Nyron Nosworthy, Adrian Mariappa, Lovel Palmer, Jermaine Taylor; Midfielders – Rodolph Austin, Jason Morrison, Je-Vaughn Watson; Forwards – Luton Shelton, Kavin Bryan and Omar Cummings.

          I like our chances against that lineup. Cummings and Luton will need to make the necessary adjustment on the defensive side since they are playing with so many mids.

          Klinsmann is trying to replicate the Gold Cup by flooding the midfield with passers and no true target man.
