    Marc Cintron scores for Puerto Rico against Spain

    Providence College senior men's soccer midfielder Marc Cintron (Piscataway, N.J.), who also plays for Puerto Rico's national team, scored his team's goal in a 2-1 loss against the defending World Cup and European champion, Spain on Wednesday, August 15.

    It marked Cintron's international debut as Puerto Rico was defeated. Cintron's goal came in the 65th minute as he was able to race past Spanish defender Sergio Ramos and fired a right-footed shot from 18 yards out and past goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
