BBC 1 - I have been rooted to watching the Olympics live

coverage on BCC - 1 but have the added bonus of seeing -
a) the coverage of our 'relatives' living in Britain celebrating our FIFTY

and

b) multiple discussions of what follows and should follow the tremendous showing by TEAM GB and how the performances will inspire future GB generations.

It was amazing the number of times schools were mentioned as having played important part in development of GB's athletes...and the number of calls for more money to be pumped into "primary schools" as vital to continued progress!

(Tongue in cheek..guess Bricky will say what a fool-fool set of people only academies a carri di swing!)

Did you hear what the prime minister said? He said it not the money, it is the teachers who don't want to spend time with the kids in the playground.

...I also heard a longing for/request for 'good teachers' ...and Academies being also praised!

Its been a refreshing break from the overpaid & over exposed footballers.
