If you are right, then I suspect this Spanish generation would be crowned the "greatest" but only because of the European bias in football - not because they are necessarily correct in that assertion. After all, how do you prove one team being better than another separated by a generation and a half? Anyway, if I am right, and Spain don't win the WC2014, then what?

True, one of my favourites... it had a little of everything: team-work with dribbling, passing, shooting all with perfect timing

Maicon came close in the 2010 WC. Not an easy goal to score but you will hear about better ball, boots and fitness techniques AS IF. Yet you don't see goals as the above on a day to day basis (ah mean; more fit , better ball , better shoes we should be seeing these goals every week)
