that is why brasil have 5 world cups, argentina has 2 and uruguay has (how many 2 or 3)?
only 3 non european teams have won the WC, but more teams have won the euro. come to think of it, when teams like denmark and greece have won it (and how they won it) , it represents a big hurdle to say it is a better competition ....

Its a Fair question. The answer is no the Euro is not a better tournament as you have arguably the two most dominant team in Brazil and Argentina excluded and consistent performers like Cameroon and Mexico out. Now the EC gets to the point quicker as the big names go at each other right from the get go due to less amount of team and the inability for teams to be seeded and avoid each other. So yes you have France and England for the jump or Spain and italy which you dont see in the WC due to seeding. So in all both are good, i like the unknown of the world cup. Cameroon slapping Argentina or Nigeria vs Italy. France loosing to Senegal or TT drawing Sweden. Those are priceless.

But how exactly is Cameroon a consistent performer at the World Cup?"Donovan was excellent. We knew he was a good player, but he really didn't do anything wrong in the whole game and made it difficult for us."
