From what i see of this youth, him look like a clinical finisher playing with a lot of confidence. The time to call him is now, i believe in picking people who are inform.

Darren Mattocks was called to camp and decided to stay put at Vancouver. If Tappa decide to stay with who is available, there is nothing wrong with that. Dane Richards, Ryan Johnson, Shelton and T. He was also called to the under 23 camp last year and he carried on with some less than professional behaviour that resulted in him not making the team. He is showing the right attitude now, so hopefully he will continue to produce and we will see him in the squad by time the USA game reach.Comment

He didn't DECIDE to stay. Talk the thing right. He was recovering from his burn and he didn't yet play a first team game so the club refuse to let him go as they can do when a player is not fully fit.
He is now fit and back in form..........
it is not so much about Tappa but about the supports who are saying he need to wait. In a month time I bet you if he is not injured he will force his way into been call. He will more than likely have another 3 goals by then. I didn't list him. he is in the squad based on reputation, ability and the team he is with. He has not produced as much as the others, so that can't be the reason why he would keep Mattocks out of the team.Comment

You are correct, i made it sound like he didnt' want to go to camp. He was called and Montreal decided that he would stay put. by time those games came around he was already fit and playing non-mls games, but yes they wanted to keep him.
With that said, the point remains, he will need to continue to produce to remove those players who have produced the good for Tappa. If he continues to improve, he will get to that point.Comment

Ryan scores a goal for us every other game. Luton Shelton, little teams or not, has scored a goal every other game. Tremaine Stewart got his opportunity against New Zealand and put the ball in the back of the net. Omar Cummings has also delivered for the team. until them stop produce, Mattocks is going to have to continue his form to remove some of them from the lineup.Originally posted by Twan View PostComment

Dane is not a goal scorer, he doesn't consistently make accurate crosses either...
Cummings have 7 goals in 27 caps...
